Content
- economic translation workshop ' Turkish/French (VANRIE Pierre): translation of texts addressing various theoretical approaches to economics, focusing on related vocabulary as well as on names and acronyms of international institutions.
The texts to be translated will give a general description of specific economic situations, leading to discussions on the economic situation of a given country, including but not limited to Turkey.
Without going into complex technical considerations requiring a high level of economic expertise, the course will set out to tackle various aspects of economic analysis (social, political or technological dimensions)

Evaluation methods
During the term: formative assessment. January and August/September sessions: written examination.
Students are required to take one written examination per translation workshop (i.e. economic and legal) in connection with the topics dealt with during the term.
The overall mark will be calculated by averaging the two marks. In case of an overall fail mark, the failed parts will have to be retaken during the August/September exam session. In case of an unjustified absence, students will have to retake the two translation workshops chosen during the August/September exam session.
