At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

AA-FS-TA. Develop expertise and a high level of competence in the field of adapting audio-visual material into French, from two foreign languages, with a view to participating successfully in the professional multilingual audio-visual sector.
Specific learning outcomes on completion of teaching unit
On completing this unit the student is able to:
·         Transcribe, check or correct the script dialogue-list for the source material
·         Sub-title audio-visual productions in miscellaneous domains and genres, 
·         Supply marketable productions, whether working independently or in a team.
 
Content
By the end of this teaching, students will be able to transcribe or check a script/dialog list, subtitle specific audiovisual documents, and hand in professional work, be it individually or in groups. Students will develop a high expertise in audiovisual adaptation into French. They will be professional in an audiovisual context.
Teaching methods
Attendance is mandatory. Workshops and continuous assessment.
Evaluation methods
For the June session, the students, in groups of 2 or 3, hand in the subtitles they submitted for the BSFF. For the August/September session, the students hand in an individual aassignment.
