This course introduces journalism students to the practice of plurimedia journalism (print, radio, television, web) and multimedia (integration and variations of these media) on a daily basis. It makes them aware of the specificities of different journalistic genres. The students must carry out concrete implementations in a journalistic production situation.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, students will be able to :
- master the fundamental skills of criticism and selection, narration and management of journalistic information ;
- practice daily journalism (written, radio, TV, web), graphic and multimedia formatting of information ;.Â
- distinguish the specificities of the different journalistic genres necessary for editorial practice ;
- master the management of multimedia information by adapting narrative techniques, journalistic genres and media supports to the demands of the public;
- master the writing of information on social networks.

Teaching methods
- Presentation of journalistic genres, approaches and production techniques.
- Production of press products under professional editorial conditions.
- Personalised critical assessment of each student's work.
Evaluation methods
- Ongoing assessment of the student, both individually and collectively or in small groups depending on the nature of the work being corrected.
- Assessment carried out collectively by university lecturers and working professionals (in coordination with the entire team of lecturers on the practical journalism courses).
- Students' progress is taken into account over the course of the term.
