At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to : | |
At the end of the course, students will be able to: - locate the major periods of Russian history in its geopolitical, economic, social and cultural dimensions ; - identify and explain historical and socio-cultural references in written and oral texts ; - produce, in writing and orally, a discourse on the cultural phenomena specific to the major periods of Russian history; - master the lexical, syntactic and stylistic structures of Russian; - to mobilise a know-how allowing to take part in communication situations. |

Theoretical part: an overview of Russian history and cultural phenomena.
Practical part: reading and discussion of texts; presentations of various topics by students; debates on current issues.

Evaluation methods
Continuous assessment of ability to synthesise content, coherence of written and oral production, lexical richness and grammatical control.
The dates of 4 assessments will be posted on the Moodle page at the beginning of the semestre. Oral presentation (20% of the final grade). The subjects and the dates will be posted on the Moodle page at the beginning of the semestre.
In case of failure at the exam in June, the student must take an oral exam during the second session.
