At the end of this Course students should be able to: - learn about the Turkish culture in all its historical, political, economic and artistic aspects. - detect the underlying socio-cultural components and analyze them in written and oral texts. - know the subject, vocabulary and techniques of documentary and terminological research. - master the lexical, syntactic and stylistic structures of Turkish. - give and defend in the C language (Turkish) an opinion drawing on relevant information, explanations and arguments. |

Theoretical part: an overview of Turkish history and cultural phenomena.
Practical part: reading and discussion of texts; presentations of various topics by students; debates on current issues.

For practical part: (50 % of final result)
• Continuous (formative) assessment based on student presentations, active participation, submitting homework and projects regularly (25 % of final result).

• Summative evaluation based on final individual oral exam at the end of the semester (25 % of final result).
For theoretical part: (50 % of final result)
Summative written assessment at the end of the semester.
