Content
Elements of methodology in psychological research; Perception and attention; Memory, decision-making and problem-solving processes; Laws of learning and principles of behavior modification; Theories of motivation; Health psychology, socio-cognitive theories, stress and health behaviors: Social determinants of human behavior; Mental disorders and the definition of pathological behavior; Evaluation of psychological interventions; Psychology and physical activity.
Teaching methods
100%: Theoretical presentations based on Power-Point presentations, illustrated by videos & examples from daily life, use of the Wooclap platform for interactive teaching.
Evaluation methods
MCQ written exam on the subject, containing 40 questions with four answer possibilities, only one of which is correct. The evaluation procedures remain the same for all sessions of the same academic year.

Learning outcomes
At the end of this teaching unit, the student should be able to master the basic concepts and theories of psychology and more particularly the cognitive, affective and social psychological processes which underlie behavior. He/she will understand the major concepts and main psychological theories likely to be useful in his/her motor skills intervention for educational purposes (EDPH) or rehabilitation (KINE).
The contribution of this unit to the development and mastery of the skills and acquired knowledge of the program(s) is accessible at the end of this sheet, in the “Programs/training courses offering this teaching unit (UE)” section.
