Programme structure

The 60-credit (220-hour) programme consists of lectures and seminars, as well as a final paper.

Courses and seminars

  • The first term consists of subject-specific courses, an 'Introduction to European information and documentation' course and the interdisciplinary seminar 'Think Europe'.
  • The second term is devoted to the analysis of the scope and methods of European policies and the drafting of the final paper (16 credits).

Final paper

  • Students are required to write a final paper in which they discuss topics covered during the master's programme.

For professional, social, medical or academic reasons, a student may request a reduction in their course load.
