Ralph Dekoninck is a professor of art history in the Faculty of Philosophy, Arts and Letters, a member of the Institute for the Study of Civilisations, Arts and Letters (INCAL) and co-director of the Centre for Cultural Analysis of Early Modernity. His teaching and research subjects are baroque art history, early modern art theories, and the relationship between art and religion from a transhistorical perspective.
