In 2009, the Louvain School of Engineering (EPL) launched a mathematics symposium for secondary school pupils. Its goal is to show final-year pupils that mathematics can be a fascinating subject and that 17-year-olds can devote several afternoons to it without ever being bored.
The next symposium will be held at the Aula Magna (Louvain-la-Neuve) on Friday 26 April 2019.
