The Higher intitute of philosophy is a research community of some 150 members. The main part is composed of researchers with different status and disciplines.
The Higher Institutde of Philosophy awards various Chairs and Prizes: Cardinal Mercier Chair, Francqui Chair, Mercier Prize, Dopp Prize
Every year, the Soci茅t茅 philosophique de Louvain (SPL) organizes a series of lectures on a variety of themes.
