The ways of taking an appointment with the practitioner vary from one campus to the other. You can make an appointment either with the campus doctor or with a general practitioner.
In Louvain-la-Neuve, you are also welcome to come to the “Point Santé” (Health Point), without a meeting, to ask questions on various subjects related to health.

You can contact “La Mairie” to make an appointment with the campus doctor:

- You can benefit from free consultations rue de l’Ommegang 6, 2nd level office 2-02, 1000 Brussels. The permanence is held without an appointment, during course periods, on Monday from 10h45 to 11h45 and Wednesday from 12h45 to 13h45.

1. If you have already met the campus doctor for a consultation, a health check-up at the “Point santé” or been referred by a professional at the Student Support Service of the University

2. If you have not yet seen the student doctor
→ The “Point santé” is a possibility of first contact without appointment or referral, where you will be listened to and have all your health-related questions answered. It takes place every Monday at 1 pm at the “Point de Repère”, 10 rue des Wallons.
- Weekends and public holidays: contact the on-call physician at 1733.
- The individual follow-up of UCLouvain students is done by the Student Support Service, only with an appointment.
- Student doctor consultation cost:
Student doctors apply the third-party payment system, i.e. they bill your mutual insurance agency directly for the cost of the consultation. Some services may be billed to you (e.g. a laboratory bill will be sent to your home).
Financial reasons should never be a barrier to consulting us. So please contact us even if you are in financial difficulty.

2. Meet a member of the health team (“Point santé”)

“Le Point Santé” is a place to get health-related advice and answers to your questions.
For a first contact with our team : without making an appointment, go to the "Point de Repère" on Monday at 1pm, 10 rue des Wallons.
- A health professional is available for all the UCLouvain students who wishes to come. A visit at the “Point santé” give the possibility to the student, if necessary, to be seen by the campus doctor.
- You can find the . It is also available at the “Point de repère”. You can contact a general practitioner who is on duty or who will give you the contact details of the on-call doctor via his answering machine.
- During weekends and on-call days, contact the on-call doctor: 02 38 50 500.
