Teaching methods
Practical work, interactive exercises, role plays and simulations in the laboratory and on site.
Evaluation methods
In order to obtain the credits associated with the EU, the student must sit both parts of the EU examination and complete the required assignments during the semester in accordance with the instructions given. In the case of preparatory work, the student must explain in the methodological introduction how he/she proceeded. He/she must also mention the tools (terminology database, corpus, AI, etc.) that he/she has used for lexical research, the creation of bilingual lists and the synthesis of texts.
Certificate assessment in the form of an oral examination (in two parts) on an announced subject:
Consecutive interpreting (70%)
Liaison interpreting (30%) at the end of the module.
Attendance is compulsory. In the event of unjustified absence from more than 2 sessions, the teachers reserve the right to ask the jury to refuse registration for the examination. The same will apply to students who fail to hand in the required assignments within the stipulated time without justification.
The assessment in the second session will also be based on compulsory preparatory work and the oral examination (in two parts) on an announced subject.
In the event of failure of the UE, students are invited to consult the details of their marks on the MOODLE page of the course. A mark equal to or higher than 10/20 for a part of the course will automatically be carried over to the second session and may not be repeated. If you are absent or fail to attend one of the parts, your mark will not be carried over.
