In critical embedded systems, even minor malfunctions can result in severe human casualities, financial damages, or environmental catastrophes. The design of these systems demands expertise across multiple disciplines and adherence to rigorous safety protocols. There's no room for improvisation in this high-stakes field.

The Louvain Scool on Engineering at UCLouvain, in collaboration with VUB and in partnership with Alstom Belgium and AISIN, is launching a new Inter-university certificate in Critical Embedded Systems.

This training is aimed at two different audiences :

  • Company sponsored professionals: Individuals sent by their employers for professional development and skill enhancement. This training will be an integral part of their work, enabling them to develop skills that are essential for driving company’s international competitiveness.
  • Proactive-learners: Professionals who are eager to upskill or reskill on a personal initiative, either because they are seeking a change of direction in a more stimulating sector, or because they wish to boost their employability, ultimately contributing to the overall competitiveness of the Belgian business eco-system.
